Once custom guides have been created, they can be displayed when reviewing artwork or sending proofs.
Open an artwork file.
Open View.
Go to Guides → Custom guides.
Select a guide.
The selected guide is displayed as an overlay on top of the artwork.
If a guide is configured as double sided, it behaves differently depending on the page number.
On odd pages, the guide displays normally.
On even pages, the guide flips horizontally.
This is useful for documents where inner and outer margins differ, such as books or booklets.
To show guides in a proof, you must first open the Proof settings screen when sending a proof.
Open the artwork.
Approve the artwork.
Click Send proof.
The Proof settings screen appears.
Locate the Guides section.
Choose a custom guides.
Select your custom guide in the dropdown menu
Send Proofs
Customers will see the selected guide when reviewing the proof.
